St. Joe pork processor helps non-profit

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A pork processor says when they saw an opportunity to help out a Missouri non-profit, they stepped in. St. Joseph-based Triumph Foods donated over 2,000 pounds of pork to non-profit agency, InterServ.

Communications and Community Relations Manager for Triumph Foods Chris Clark said they're glad to help a local non-profit like InterServ.

“They’ve been around for over 100 years and essentially they do everything from education, childcare...immigration services, they help people with taxes if they’re lower income...it’s just kind of an all-around good place,” said Clark.

Clark said they were happy to help when the opportunity presented itself. “They do a lot in the community and we partner with them throughout the year with different donations, but we happen to have some product.”

InterServ is a United Way community partner.
